

Jerry graduated from San Joaquin Memorial and 4C College. He sold produce containers for General Box, American Forest Products and Georgia Pacific. He was a top salesman and an avid conversationalist. Being a farmer of olives and oranges, he loved talking farming with his customers. His love later in life was his landscaped yard of climbing roses and fruit trees.
Jerry's hobbies included reading the Wall Street Journal cover to cover, he was a member of the Fresno Trade Club, St. Alphonse, St. Helen's and the Italian Catholic Federation. He loved opera and explaining it to his family and friends converting many of them to opera buffs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack, Dan, John Lopopolo; and sisters, Grace, Antoinette, and Edith.
Jerry is survived by his wife and buddy Luceen; his children, Regina, Roseanne, John, Gerald and wife Anneka Lopopolo and Sabrina Bamlet and husband Richard; three grandchildren Zac, Christine Lopopolo and Harrison Bamlet; sister, Jo Soligian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers remembrance may be made to the Nancy Hinds Hospice or the donor's favorite charity.
