Growing up, he had an older sister, Donna, a twin brother, Hank, and a younger sister, Debbie. They lived in Long Beach and then moved to Fresno when he was around 9 years old where he stayed the rest of his life.
In 1967 Jerry enlisted in the Navy where he served on the USS Coral Sea and the USS Hornet during the Vietnam War. He served for 4 years and while on the USS Hornet he picked up Apollo 11 and 12.
Jerry married his wife, Judy, on June 7, 1975, and they had two daughters, Heather and Brandy. He was a loving husband and father. He worked hard as a truck driver and farmer for most of his life. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Jerry’s favorite place to go was Bass Lake. He enjoyed summer days at the lake sitting on the dock, swimming, and going on the boat. He also loved sitting on the deck of the cabin waving and saying hi to anyone that walked by.
Jerry is preceded in death by his twin brother, Harold Robertson, and his father and mother, Gerald and Shirley Robertson. He is survived by his wife Judy Robertson, Daughter Heather Moreno and her husband Jose Moreno, his daughter Brandy Robertson and her fiance Stefano Garbi, and sisters Donna Mares and Debbie Robertson. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
