
Hank was born and raised in Fresno. He graduated from Edison High School in 1941. He was an aviation machinist in the United States Navy Air Corp. during World War II. He returned from the Navy and was employed by the City of Fresno Water Department for 35 years as an electrician.
The family would like to thank his "babies" as he fondly called his caregivers, Claudine Mitchell, Mareena Hurtado, Carmen Cadriel and Roxsane Legere as well as the angels of Hospice.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donato Criesi and Elizabeth LaRocco Criesi, who migrated to Fresno from Potenza, Italy. He was the last survivor of all his siblings who passed before him, brothers, Patrick, Sam, Thomas; and sisters, Genevieve, Annie and Tilly.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane Duinkerken and her husband Ron; his two grandchildren, Andrew James and Brianna Marie Duinkerken; his first wife, Mary M. Cooper; and many beloved nephews and nieces, all from Fresno.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 1:00 to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 11:00 am followed by a burial at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
