

Lew was born in Los Angeles, Ca. on July 12, 1919. He served in World War II in the Army as a Supply Sergeant in the Signal Core. After the war he worked for Kraft Foods, and lived in Fresno.
He married Rosalind Orlando on March 18, 1944. She preceded him in death in 1984.
Lew was also preceded by his son, Timothy in 2003 and sister, Rose DiCarlo in 2005.
Lew is survived by his daughter, Susan Whittemore and son-in-law Gary, of Gleneden Beach, Oregon and Cantwell, Alaska; daughter-in-law, Pam Cefalia of Lemoore, Ca.; his three grandchildren, Dusty Whittemore and his wife Kelly, Steven Allen and his wife Cameron and Jennie Makekau and her husband Howard; two great-granddaughters Makena and Kaili.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Lew Cefalia's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
