

Jack E. Foreman or John, as his Dad called him, was born on November 5, 1948, to Charles and Lois Foreman, in Fresno, CA. He passed away at home on Sunday, March 11, 2012, with his wife, Marianne, and family by his bedside after a very long illness.
Jack married Marianne E. Jennings on April 29, 1978 and they would have celebrated their 34th anniversary this year.
Jack was in the residential construction business, focusing on concrete and drywall. When he was 33 years old, on February 12, 1982, he was critically injured in an automobile accident that left him permanently disabled. He persevered through many years of rehabilitation and was able to regain mobility and strength to a point that no one thought was possible. His favorite pastime was gardening, listening to music, and working on projects in his garage. He also loved cooking and barbequing. He landscaped his home with a beautiful rose garden and friends and neighbors would come by to admire it, and pick the roses. Everyone new him and would come over to visit with him while he was outside working in the yard. Many of the neighborhood children would come by to chat with him and play with his dog, Leo and cat, Miss Boots. Four years ago, Jack became a grandfather, and his little grandson, David, became the light of his life. Papa always took the time to talk, read, or just watch cartoons together, they were inseparable
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Chuck and Lois Foreman; his brother, Scott Foreman, and grandparents, Jack and Mamie Kindelberger.
Jack will be deeply missed by his wife, Marianne; his daughters, Karrie Lynn Foreman and Jennifer Lynn Foreman; his grandson, David Alexander Blanco; his brother, Tim Foreman and his wife Debbie of Simi Valley, CA; and his sister, Laurie Mason of Fresno. He also leaves behind 5 nieces and 8 nephews, and many more relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S. Cornelia Ave (at Whitesbridge), Fresno, CA, on Friday, March 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. For more information contact Tinkler Funeral Home and Crematory. (559) 233-2101.
