Jack was born on December 16, 1948 in Fresno, California. By the age of seven, he started working with his Dad, learning all about farming. Later, Jack and his Dad formed the partnership, Sun Down Farms. He was an amazing, good, hard working man with a heart of gold, who is now farming in the fields of heaven.
Jack retired in 2022, but he never lost his passion for farming, often going out and checking the almonds on his ranches. He also loved spending time in his favorite happy place, Bay Laurel, in Carmel By the Sea.
Jack is predeceased by his parents, Ed and Jean Wagenleitner; his daughters, Leslie Roberts and Tracy Wagenleitner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara and her family whom he loved as his own - daughter Denise and her husband Brian Isaak, grandsons -Justin Isaak and Jacob Isaak; granddaughter Phoebe Roberts and grandsons Sam Roberts and Andrew Roberts; sister Jody Hamilton, aunt Tulla Chrisman, and cousins.
