

Keith served eight years in the U.S. Air Force as a Radar Technician at remote radar sites, and was honorably discharged as an Airman First Class in 1967. After his discharge, Keith worked as an electronic technician at Blackstone TV, Bilsten's and Central Cal Video. Keith then went to work as a Broadcast Engineer first with Channel 47, and later with Channel 24. He also ran a business out of his home, Video Communictions
His favorite hobby was Ham Radio, and his call sign was WB6CXX. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and was an auto racing fan.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, James Fuller Harter and Patricia Wickens; his daughter, Erin Harter.
He will be loved and missed by his survivors, including daughter, Stacy Harter; son, James Todd Lowery and his wife Michelle, and their son, James Cody; grandson, Julian Drake; companion, Kathleen Jones; half-sister Marianne Moran; aunt and uncle Dorothy and John Hardin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Military burial to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine, California.
