We will miss you Uncle John. I will always remember when you brought me to Church Camp the summer after my father died where you were our Cabin Host/Counselor. Every morning we were awakened by the pounding of 'rocks' on the tin roof. When we all scrambled out of our bunks to see what was the matter, you were on the porch with your broom and pointed to the girl's cabin. Every day we vowed we would get up extra early to retaliate, but it never happened.  Then on the last day of camp, you revealed the secret of the 'rocks' by running the broom handle across the corrugated tin edge of the roof. It was at this camp I came to know Christ. We miss you and want to express our sympathy and hope to your family and those you left behind.

John was a great man. They simply don't make them like that anymore. we will miss you and love you John.

I will miss you grandpa,n I will always remember how you taught me how to drive in your old ford pickup truck in the church behind your house. Your great grandchildren will miss you watching them swim, n you joking around with them. You were the best dad, grandfather,& great grandfather that we could of ever had. Thank you for your love. You are deeply missed. Untill we see you again. You will be in our hearts n minds. We love you.
