Jack was born in Chester, PA in 1941 to John F. Miller Sr. and Helen Melville Boyer. Jack married his true love Sandy and together they raised their three children in Aston, PA. Jack was instrumental in starting and running the Upper Chichester softball program alongside his wife Sandy for many years, fostering a sense of community and team spirit that will be remembered fondly by many.
After a fulfilling a long career at PECO, Jack embraced retirement.
Jack and Sandy spent many summers at the Chesapeake Bay where they enjoyed boating, crabbing and fishing. He spent countless weekends on the bowling lanes and spending time at his favorite hangouts, including the Boothwyn Café, Archway Inn, and Duffers Pub. In 2020, Jack relocated to Fresno CA so he could be closer to his daughter and son.
