John was a true Fresno native. He enjoyed horses, fishing, hunting, and boating. He enjoyed working with his hands, building things. John sang in the Fresno First Baptist Church choir every Sunday morning for 12 years. He sang with the Scottish Rite Brothers chorus for many local Fresno retirement homes. John was one of the original New Wrinkles cast members and was a fixture in the show for over 20 years. John was a member of the Las Palmas Lodge #366 free and accepted Masons. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite on the Supreme Council and a member of the Tehran Temple. John was a Pooh-Baah and a member of the Fresno Hi 12. But most of all, John loved his family.
