Juan E. Lozano

Juan E. Lozano, age 75, of Fresno, California passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Juan was born in Brownsville, Texas to his parents Aurora Espinosa Pineda and Guadalupe Pineda on April 19, 1949.

He was a devoted husband to his wife Nelda Lozano, spending 50 years of marriage together. A loving father to his son John Christopher Lozano and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren Ace and Ella Lozano. Known for his sense of humor he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Juan was passionate about landscaping and was very proud of keeping a well maintained yard. He enjoyed taking weekly trips to the auction and always found joy in spending time with his family, especially when it involved a good meal.

Juan is preceded in death by Guadalupe Padilla Pineda (Father), Aurora Espinoza Pineda (Mother) Pedro Pineda (Brother), Rodolfo Pineda (Brother), Samuel Pineda (Brother), Cipriano Pineda (Brother) and Raul Pineda (Brother).

He is survived by Nelda Lozano (Wife), John Christopher Lozano (Son), Evonne Lozano (Daughter in Law), Ace Lozano (Grandson), Ella Lozano (Granddaughter), Guadalupe Pineda Jr. (Brother) Ruben Pineda (Brother), Josefina Pineda (Sister), Yolanda Pineda (Sister), Minerva Ramirez (Sister), Cecelia Pineda (Sister), Jose Pineda (Brother), Rosalinda Pineda (Sister), Arturo Pineda (Brother), Julia Pineda (Sister), Esmeralda Pineda (Sister), Manuel Pineda (Brother), Marcela Pineda (Sister) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are John Christopher Lozano, Ace Lozano, Jose Pineda, Arturo Pineda, George Valdez, Carlos Mendoza, Francisco Leon and Tony Balderas III.

A visitation for Juan will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721. A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Alphonsus Church, 351 E. Kearney Blvd, Fresno, CA 93706.

Juan will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery.
