Katherine Fay VanGroningen (Yester) was born on May 16, 1955 in Cody, Wyoming to Marty and Grady Yester. She was the youngest of three children. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1976 and married the love of her life, Rick VanGroningen, on March 29, 1986 in Fresno, Ca.
Kathy went to be with her Lord and savior on March 4, 2021. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and her Northpointe Community Church family, but we are comforted knowing that her body is healed and she is dancing in the streets of heaven.
Kathy had such a servants heart and loved helping others whenever she had the opportunity to.
Kathy is survived by her husband Rick, her father Graydon Yester, her brother Mike Yester and his family, and her children Cory and Emily along with their families.
