Louie Palacios Mendoza

Louie Mendoza left this world on October 13, 2016. He was 87 years old and was married to Isabel Mendoza for 67 wonderful years. At an early age, he had to leave school to begin working to support his family following the passing of his father. Louie served proudly in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Louie and Isabel eventually moved to La Mirada, California, where he worked with Northrop Aviation. They returned to Fresno on his retirement in 1986 and built a beautiful home in the country. Louie was a dedicated family man and worked hard all of his life. Up to when he was hospitalized in June, he spent his days working on his ranch and taking care of his fruit trees.

The family would like to extend its gratitude to the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, and in particular to the staff of the VA CLC, who provided excellent and compassionate care during his stay with them.

Visitation will be held at St. Helen's Church on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 9:00 am, then at 10:00 am. the Recitation of the Holy Rosary and then Funeral Mass at 10:30 am., following by the interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
