Thinking of Dee and the whole family. He is greatly missed. He was a great friend and colleague.

Long story short you will forever be missed.

I think of Lyle often. He was such an easy going person. He loved comic con and was the expert on Batman.  Dee and Lyle will always be in my thoughts and heart.

Should you happen to see this post or anyone of Lyle's friends or family, would you call Lyle's cousin Dom LoPiccolo in Wisconsin at 262-383-0106. I just recently heard of Lyle's passing and I wanted to express my condolences to Dee and family. Lyle's dad Gus was my uncle, leaving Wisconsin behind in the early 1950s. I was at Lyles weeding in Fresno with his aunt. Dee you would not remember me other than the fact I was Lyle's first cousin. 

Lyle only came to Wisconsin once as a child and it is for that reason I would like to personally talk to Dee about Lyle and his life.

Thinking of Lyle.  A true great human being. Most kind.loveing heart. Devoted freind to all he knew..  loved his job at AAA, an fellow coworkers. Loveing husbend to Dee his dear wife.    I have said befor, Lyle was my verty 1st true freind. I ever knew.as a young little boy.in 1st grade.  All thure.grade school  there Westmoor High School..class of 1975. He was a great artist to.loved to draw.as I did .we use to meet every day be for class in the,morning an exchange drawings of cartoons we made the night be for at home for each other. We did that from 5th grsde.6th to 7th grade. We both loved comic books. Famemus Monster's of film land.  &makeing model kits.. we als9 loved to collect. Toys from our past. To this day. Both kids at heart.. He was a blessing to the community. An yes to the world.  I will miss my dear freind. An always keep thoughts of him in my heart an soul.. It was an honor to work alongside with Lyle. He was someone who was fun to work with while getting the job done.  I will surely miss our talks about superhero movies, Godzilla, and collecting McDonald toys.

Lyle, you were a great colleague and a wonderful friend.  I loved our conversations so much while eating lunch together and talking about ALL the super hero movies we both enjoyed watching.   You also had a niche for finding all the best restaurants, thank you for those suggestions.  You were never wrong! And, last but not least,  you will remain the biggest Batman super-fan I have ever met, Batcoma forever! 

I'm grateful I had the chance to work with you for my whole career at AAA.  You will always be the kindest person I've ever had the pleasure to work with.  A true gentleman.  I will miss you a lot!

My entire family and I are so saddened to hear of Lyle’s passing.  Lyle was one of a kind! We will always  remember how he gave our recently college graduate a full lesson in buying car insurance on her own. She was well schooled after talking to Lyle  We will cherish the times we were able to get together and appreciate Lyle’s friendship. May this gentle soul Rest In Peace. ✝️

Dee, I am so sorry to hear of Lyle's passing. He was a great man, and great to work with. When I started working for AAA in the Fresno Forkner Branch I remember how happy I was to meet Lyle. He was someone who enjoyed sports like I did. He loved his 49er's and Giants and I loved my Steelers and Pirates. We would talk about sports daily while we worked together in Fresno and Clovis. Also,  we all know Lyle loved his Super Hero's. Each year that we worked together Lyle blocked off time on the work schedule to go to Comic Con in San Diego. I was always so glad to listen to his stories and see the pictures he had taken at Comic Con. All of us could tell how much he enjoyed going to that event. I am glad I got to see Lyle before he went out on leave. My Hanford frontline team all had to be out because of Covid, and just like the Super Hero's that he loved to follow, he came to my rescue to help out on the frontline for a few days while the team was out. Lyle will be missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. 

I've known Lyle for the whole duration of being with AAA- 16 years.  He has such a calm, collective aura about him that makes him such a great person to be around with.  Will miss him dearly.

Lyle and I grew up being neighbors. We were just 2 years old when we moved to Daly City. We are the same age and went all through school together. Lyle had a talent at a very young age. He could draw like no other. It was amazing. He had no brothers or sisters and always looked up to my brothers. I am deeply saddened by the the loss of Lyle. He was a wonderful man. My heart goes out to Dee and all his friends and family. ❤️

Lyle was a genuine friend who will be missed by all.  My love and prayers go out to Dee and family.

Lyle was preceded in death by his mother and father Lee and Gus Comande.


He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dee Comande and many cousins, friends, and co-workers. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Arias; brother-in-laws Mike Arias, Daniel Arias and sister-in-laws Angela Arias and Nany Arias and nephew Danny Arias.
