A resident of both Sanger and Fresno, Marcelino attended Mayfair Elementary School, Clovis East High School, and later pursued higher education at California State University, Fresno, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.
Marcelino's dedication to service was evident in his military career. He served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps for three years, where he achieved many decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. Mark served with honor in the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division.

His infectious sense of humor and constant smile brought happiness to those around him. His loss is profoundly felt by his family, friends, and the community he served to protect.
Marcelino is survived by his mother, Christina Ramos, and his brothers, Efrain and Angel Ramos. He is also survived by his grandparents, Marcelino and Lydia Gamino, and Antonio and Maria Farias.
