

She passed away peacefully, on September 5, 2010, at her home in Fresno. Born in San Francisco on April 2, 1920.
She was a retired assistant medical technologist and bookkeeper for the Mariposa and R Street Laboratory. Mar- garet and her former husband, Dr. Irwin D. Chow were one of the first homeowners in the Fig Garden Area in 1955. As a member, she contributed her time to the First Chinese Baptist Church, the Fay Wah Auxiliary, and Club 55 of St. Agnes Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Willie Chow of San Francisco, and Warren Chow of Selma.
She is survived by her sister, May Fong of Stockton; her son Irwin David Chow, Jr. of Fresno and his fiancée, Dorothy Dunn; daughters Joanne Chow Winship of San Francisco and Lisa Chow of Berkeley; and grandchildren, Wesley Winship, Nicholas Chow, Kiri McCart, Christopher Chow, and Amye Chow.
A Funeral Service will be held at the First Chinese Baptist Church, on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Where remembrances may be sent.
