Margaret was the third child of Ernest "Lee" and Lucielle Lowry. She reminisced often about growing up near a creek in Los Gatos Canyon with her older siblings, Bud and Bonnie.
Margaret attended Coalinga High School and then went on to West Hills College. She eventually met the love of her life, Don Scott Reynolds. They married on July 4, 1958, in Reno, Nevada. After marrying, they settled in Kerman, California where together they grew and built a life for over 55 years.
She was a loving mother to two daughters, Susie and Donna. Over her life, Margaret was always active in many activities. Some of her most memorable moments was being a Girl Scout Troop Leader for her daughters. She always loved being an owner and support system for their small business, Rasco, Inc. in Kerman, California.
Always the matriarch, Margaret was involved with her community, donating her time to Kerman Citizens on Patrol, and loved participating in the Kerman parades with the beloved children's train, The Rasco Express.
The ever-beloved grandmother, Margaret was blessed with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved when they would come over to swim, raid her kitchen or even cram into an RV for a road trip.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters and their families; Susie and Tom Steffen, Holly, Scott and Daniel "Dano" Steffen; Donna Gallegos, Bryan and Kevin (Theresa) Gallegos, and two great granddaughters, Ava and Alani, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to recognize a very special third daughter, Stephanie Borges.
A graveside service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM-12:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in the memory of Margaret Reynolds to the Friends of Kerman Animal Services, P.O Box 596, Biola, California 93606. Venmo: FriendsofKAS
