Hello to all,

I just wanted to convey my condolences to the extended Wallace family for your loss of both Mare and Jen in such a short time.  I know the vital role that Mare and Jen played within your family.   I always admired the strength of the lifelong friendship that Mare, Jen, your Mom, and my Mom (Gert Scanlan) maintained as each went on with their lives; time and distance provided no barrier.

The fall 2009 trip that Dad (Bill Scanlan), Mike, and I made to Frisco was such a good trip.  We have looked back on many occasions, recognizing the genuine value of time spent being together with Mare, Jen, and your parents.  Before Dad's passing in 2018, he provided regular updates after check-ins with Mare and Jen ("the girls").

I hope the family and friends will enjoy the attached photos of their friendship through the years.

I just found this photo. I believe it was taken in about 1993 at my parents house. On the right is Bill and Gertie Scanlan. Next to MareLouise is my dad, Don (Bud) and my mom, Anna Marie, on her other side. 

I don’t have any photos handy but I have many, many fond memories of both Mare and Gen. Growing up in St Paul my mom was one of their best friends. This friendship continued until my mom’s passing in 99. She was able to visit them in San Francisco several times. We continued correspondence with them and only recently had I not received response. May they Rest In Peace. I will forever have beautiful memories of getting to visit with them. 

The best memory is between my mom and the girls..they had a old fashion bathing suit they 
Would send it back and forth

Rest In Peace Cousin. I know you are up there joining the Bollmann Clan from St. Paul Minnesota.
