Mary graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in 1953. She met the love of her life, Barney, and they later married in 1958. They were loving parents to five children, who they cherished and adored. She was employed as a Cook for Fresno Unified School District. Upon retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling the world with friends and family members. Mary had a passion for baseball, particularly her Giants, and enjoyed many years of bowling. She was also very involved in her parish, Sacred Heart Church.
Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always unselfishly put the needs of her loved ones first. She truly cherished her memorable moments with her loving grandchildren. Mary was always very welcoming to anyone who entered her home and always treated everyone as family.
Mary was survived by her four children, Annie Molina and husband Jose, Diane Nichols, Tricia Borges, and Jim Borges; six grandchildren, Chris, Antonio, Maria, Sebastian, Sophia, and Henry; her siblings, Connie Borges and husband Ted, and Manuel Moncada and wife Rebecca.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Barney; her parents, Manuel and Soledad; her daughter, Rosie; and sisters, Bee and Diane.
