Melba Louise Herman

Melba Herman of Fresno, Passed away on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at the age of 91. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Mackey; her husband, Lewis G. Herman; her daughter, Debi Silva; her son Bill Weller and his wife Cathy; Grandchildren, Katrina Pleshe and Fiancé, Charlie Graham, Chris and Josh Lockwood, Max Silva and his wife Heather; her great grandchildren, Leah Pleshe, Nicholas Pleshe and Charles Pleshe.

My mother was the most nurturing and caring Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother that I can only aspire to be! You are our angel in Heaven. I will miss you till the day we pass from this Earth. Until we meet again our sweet Mommy. I know you’re at peace with our great grandson and Sugar. I’ll Love you forever.

If roses grow in heaven

Lord please pick a bunch for me,

Place them in my Mother’s arms

And tell her they’re from me

Tell her I love her and miss her,

And when she turn to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek,

And hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy,

I do it every day,

But there’s an ache within my heart

That will never go away.
