Mikio is survived by sons Robert (Susan) and Russell (Susan); sister Takako Jane Sumida; grandchildren Scott Uchiyama, Kortney Uchiyama, Matthew Uchiyama, Lisa Uchiyama, R.J. Uchiyama, and Laura (Richard) Redman.
A private family service was held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Lisle Funeral Home.
