Norm was one Of a kind a very special guy. Always upbeat and always thinking of others. Who could forget all the years he was Santa? In the days that we did special skits for sales events he was always in the thick of it. He was the heart of the Fresno store.

When my daughter Jennifer sold girl scout cookies, he became her best customer buying as many as 19 boxes one year ( What Marilyn didn't know didn't hurt him) she doted on his diet so.  He was a great partner and friend for all years we worked together.

Norm was a wonderful friend to Dan and I through the many years at Penneys. Marilyn was a lovely woman and gracious. I'm happy to think of them together again and enjoying it tremendously! We have quite a few pictures of us sitting on "Santa's" knee!

"Stormin' Norman", as many of us knew him.  He was such a wonderful man;  witty, smart, funny, really quick with a comeback, just plain fun to be around.   I first met him when he transferred to downtown JCPenney from Los Banos.  I 
know he missed his wife Marilyn terribly, now they'll be together again.   My condolences to the family, keep his memories close.

My Norm. :) He was one of my favorite people on the planet. Funny, kind, bright... all the good things a person can be. I have more find memories than I can count of our time together at JCPenney. My only regret is not being in touch in recent years. What a remarkable man.

Norm was one of my favorite partners at JCPenney during my 40 year career He was such a happy caring and giving friend. You will be remembered fondly my friend. Rest in Peace

I was stunned to hear of Norm's passing. Norm and I spent many days at JCPenney together. I have to say he was a true friend every minute that I knew him. We shared an office for a couple of years. It was hard for him when Marilyn passed away so soon after he retired. I feel good knowing that they are back together again. My condolences to the family.

I am sorry to hear of Norm's  passing. I enjoyed working with him for many years at JCPenney.  He was an honorable man.

We were so sorry to learn of Norm's passing.  We have such wonderful memories of he and Marilyn, especially serving on the Ensminger Trust with them.  Also all of the "Gala" dinners at the Ensminger home.  Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We would appreciate learning any information regarding a local memorial or service.
