

Otto, born in Bremen Germany December 19, 1929, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Fresno, California. Otto was known as a happy man with a good sense of humor by all who knew him throughout his entire life. Otto immigrated to America in 1952 and gained US citizenship while serving in the US Army at the Panama Canal. He married Elfrieda Reimer on August 30, 1957. His greatest joy in life was his family and he was a proud resident of Fresno, California for over 53 years. Otto was a cotton broker for Dunavant Cotton Company for over 23 years and retired in 1994 at which time he and Elfrieda took a trip to Europe to celebrate his retirement. He and his family attended North Fresno Church and made many lifelong friends there.
Otto is survived by his children, Debbie Cameron, Ron and his wife Lisa Meyer-Hagen and Pam and her husband Scott Alcorn. Debbie’s son Ryan and wife Chelsea and their sons: Ryder and Coby. Ron’s children: Jewel and husband Jason Ralph, Caleb, Claire, Audrey and husband Braden Wieske. Pam’s sons: Kyle and wife Angela and their sons: Landon, Colton and Easton, Bryce and his wife Renee and their daughters: Katelyn, Brielle and Emily, and Clayton and his wife Elizabeth and their son Henry. Otto has three nephews and a niece: Stephan, Andreas, Ralph and Jutta who reside in Germany along with their families. He was predeceased by the love of his life Elfrieda, married 58 years, and Robert Cameron.
