It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband Paul Colagiovanni.
He was a loving husband for 51 years and a devoted father to Paul Jr. and Steven. He truly enjoyed watching them grow up to become men any father would celebrate and be proud of. Paul's life was full of many adventurers and challenges. He was never afraid to try new things, whether that was starting a business or supporting his sons in their own adventures with trains, various musical instruments, 4H, baseball, cross country, and many more. One of his greatest undertakings was graduating from Fresno State in 1999 and becoming a teacher at the age of 48. He fell in love with teaching and he genuinely respected and appreciated each student that came into his classroom.
Paul will be missed by everyone he touched during his life, especially his wife, Debbie, sons, Paul Jr. and Steven; their wives Sarah (Paul's) and Kate (Steven's); and his two grandchildren, Rex and Rowan. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, inlaws, cousins, students, and friends.
Rest in Peace Paul your greatest adventure has just begun in the arms of the Lord.
A funeral service for Paul will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
Remembrances in Paul's name may be made to the Dementia Society of America at dementiasociety.org or American Brain Foundation at americanbrainfoundation.org.
