Randy Lee Walker was born on February 15, 1955 in Clovis, California to his parents, Aaron and Adeline Walker of Fresno, California. Randy passed into the arms of his Lord on March 8, 2026 after a very long illness.
Randy attended and graduated from John Muir Elementary School. He then graduated in 1974 from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Fresno.
Randy was employed in the automotive industry for over 25 years. He began working in an auto parts store downtown then later moved to the shipping and delivery departments of Herwaldt Motors, the local Mercedes Benz dealership.
Randy met and married Loraine Tucker in 1982 and from this marriage, his sons, Aaron and Andrew Walker were born. Randy and Loraine divorced in 1994 and Loraine predeceased Randy in 2024.
In January of 1998, Randy met Carol Morales through a dating service. They married in November of 1999 and were married for 26 years prior to his death.
Randy loved music and was a very serious guitar player. He played in several bands over his lifetime. He began playing guitar at the age of 8 after his father Aaron gave him a few lessons. He played a few times with the worship team at Butler Church in Fresno until his health prevented him from doing so.
Randy was a good and kind man, the kind of person everyone admired. Randy loved fishing especially with his father Aaron. People enjoyed being around him especially when it was football season. Randy was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He even once sent a certified letter to the owner of the team requesting that they seriously consider several of his college draft choices for the upcoming NFL draft held each April.
Randy was a fantastic father and husband. He did his best for his family and his love was genuine.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol-Morales Walker of Fresno, his sons, Aaron and Andrew Walker, of Fresno and his sister Madeline Guest of Gilbert, Arizona and many other family and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kind gestures, floral arrangements, prayers and love during Randy’s illness and after his death. Your actions during this sorrowful time in our lives will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, US, on March 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Butler Church, 4884 E Butler Ave, Fresno, CA 93727, US, on March 27, 2026, at 10:00 am.
