Ray Allen Sawatzky was born on August 2, 1942, in Dinuba, California. He passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 83.

Ray was a resident of Clovis, California.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Maurien Sawatzky. He is survived by his wife, Renona Sawatzky, his son, Matthew Sawatzky, his 2 granddaughters, and his brother, Richard Sawatzky.

A graveside service will be held at Clovis Cemetery District, located at 305 N Villa Avenue, Clovis, California, 93612, on February 17, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. A memorial celebration will follow, taking place at Willow Avenue Mennonite Church, located at 2529 Willow Avenue, Clovis, California, 93612. All who knew and loved Ray are welcomed to attend.
