Raymond Rodriquez Campos, a generous and thoughtful man known for his reliability, passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on July 9, 1941 in Fresno, California to Raymond and Lupe Campos. Raymond graduated from Central Union High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force for four years as a mechanic on B-52 Bombers. After his military service, he dedicated fifty years of his life to a career as a farmer and foreman, serving the Peelman family both personally and professionally.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Campos, his sisters Carmen Garcia and Jenny Zacarias, and his brothers, Joey and Ernie Campos. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Renee Gillam, Sam Phelps, Marcel Phelps, Deborah Lujan, and Daniel Alameida.
In his personal time, Raymond enjoyed going to airshows, gardening, and vacationing at the coast. He was a member of the Catholic Church, contributing to his community with the same dedication he showed in all aspects of his life.
Raymond will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community. His generous spirit and thoughtful nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on August 26, 2025, at 9:00 am at Lisle Funeral Home, located at 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721. Following the visitation, a celebration of life will take place from 11:00 am, at the same venue. Interment St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
