Richard L. Daniels

Richard L. Daniels age 84 of Brockton, formerly of Fresno, California, died Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Marian E. (Abraham) Daniels with whom he would have celebrated their 65th anniversary on August 21st. He had been a resident of Brockton since 1988 and previously lived in Fresno for many years.

During WWII he served in the Army Air Corps in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre. When living in Brockton he worked at Gurney Tack & Nail Company in Whitman and also worked for many years at Vendo Manufacturing in Fresno. A quiet and gentle man he enjoyed most his time spent with his family and his church community.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Rev. Edwin D. Daniels and his wife Rev. Judy Daniels the pastors of Living Word World Outreach Church in Brockton. He also leaves his two grandchildren Edwin Daniels, Jr. of Fresno, Cal. and Donna Daniels of Brockton and his surviving siblings William and Dwayne Daniels, Shirley Helms and Joyce Phillips all of California.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, Caruthers, on Friday July 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Washington Colony Cemetery, Easton.
