

He married Darlene McJunkin on June 5, 1960. He was a naval officer stationed on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. He was a graduate of San Jose State University where he was a member of the Theta Xi fraternity. Richard was employed by Owens Corning Fiberglass, and was the owner and retired operator of I.C.S. (Insulation Contracting and Supply) and P.A.R.C. Professional Asbestos Removal Corporation. Richard was involved with many local Civic organizations during his lifetime including Head Trader in the Fresno Traders Club, Masons, Shriners in their Clown Unit, Order of Quetzalcoatl, Royal Order of Jesters, Rotary (Downtown Club) Sirs, Elks, E Clampus Vitus (Clamp- ers), Corvette Club of Fresno, Boys and Girls Club, Bulldog Quarterback Club, Lamico Club and the Sunny- side property owners association.
He is survived by Darlene Wagner, his loving wife;, his brother, Thomas Wagner; and his sister, Gretchen Quick.
Per Wags request, no formal Memorial Service will be held.
A Celebration of Wags life will be held at Sunnyside Country Club on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
Remembrances may be made to the Shriners Transportation Fund; or Donor's favorite charity.
