Roger Andrew Green was born in Los Angeles, California on October 12, 1944.He died on December 24, 2024, in Fresno, California. Roger attended Teague Elementary School in Fresno and was a member of the U.S. Air Force California Cadet Corp. where he attained the rank of Corporal. He later graduated from South High, in Torrance California in 1962.
Shortly after high school, he and some friends formed the motor cycle club called Sad Seven. Roger enlisted in the US Army National Guard and served during the Vietnam War.
Roger attended UCLA Business Management School and spent most of his business career as a Program Manager at Hughes Aircraft Space and Communications division, which later became Boeing Space and Comm.
Roger married Linda Mae Priest in 1975. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Virgil, Virginia Ann, his older brother Richard Virgil, his wife Linda Mae and has one surviving brother, Jimmie Lee Green, of North Fork, Ca. and his Fiancée Sharletta Gabbert of Fresno Ca.
He is known as Uncle Big Roge by his nieces, nephew, great nephews and nieces and will be greatly missed by a whole lot of friends and family.
A Graveside service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, located at 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA, 93706. The service is scheduled for December 31, 2024, at 11:00 am.
