Ronald Wong was born in Guangdong, China on January 20, 1943 and passed away on October 27, 2024. He lived in Hong Kong, Sydney, Australia before immigrating to the United States.
He loved traveling and exploring different parts of the world. He enjoyed cooking and had been cooking for the majority of his life as a restaurant business owner. Ronald was a hardworking immigrant who not only had to adapt to an English speaking society in the United States given the limited English he had, but also made his way up through his hard work and dedication to providing a better life for his children ensuring that they all graduated from college and lived a meaningful life.
After retiring, Ronald started picking up the hobby of gardening. He enjoyed success in growing many different types of Asian vegetables and fruits in his garden.
He is survived by his wife Jenny Wong and children Anita Lee, Alan Wong, Melissa Wong, Cindy Wong, and Alice Wong.
Ronald will be deeply missed but not forgotten by all those who knew him.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 W Belmont Ave, Fresno, CA 93728.
