Sandra Charlene (Char) Gahagan, age 73, passed away at her home in Clovis, CA, on Wednesday October 9, 2019. She was born to Charles Harman and Florene Stoltenberg on August 18, 1946 and was the first of two children, her and Charles Clifford Stoltenberg. She attended Clovis High School in Clovis, CA and graduated in 1964.
Char had two children from her first marriage, Scott Jeffery Sturgill and Steven James Sturgill and a step-son from her second marriage: Michael James Gahagan. Char was married to her second husband Richard Gahagan for 47 years.
Char began her career as a switchboard operator, and then, worked in the Title Insurance industry for more than 20 years, responsible for personnel management and other administration activities. She enjoyed raising her three children and participating as a boy-scout den mother and youth soccer coach.
Char is survived by her loving husband Richard, Clifford, Scott, Steven and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-son Michael J. Gahagan.
There will be a Graveside Service at Fresno Memorial Gardens (175 S Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706) Wednesday October, 16th 2019 at 11:00 am.
