Stephanie Chris Petersen

Stephanie Chris Petersen, age 58, was called to be with the Lord on May 19, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Fresno where she was a domestic goddess.

Stephanie will be remembered for her beauty, smile, and her contagious laugh. Her acts of kindness and thoughtfulness were endless.

Stephanie adored her family, especially her grandchildren; Handsome Hunter and Princess McKenzie. She loved her friends and was loved by all that came in contact with her. She will be missed by many.

Stephanie's love and faith in God knew no boundaries and heaven truly has a beautiful new angel looking down on us.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Christine and Steve Gianakopulos; brother, Chris Gianakopulos; and daughter, Sarah Petersen.

She is survived by her husband, Shane Petersen, of 38 years; her daughter, Heather Petersen Pope and her husband Jeremy; and her grandchildren, Hunter and McKenzie Pope.

A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul Newman Center, on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.
