My condolences, I just heard the sad news. This is Martin from Seirra. Tara was one of my favorite people to work with. I am heart broken, Tara was a very giving, caring person and joy to be around with.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Patrick, Ashley and the rest of the family.

Tara  and I started to develop this wonderful relationship with our girls during the volleyball season.  I am so blessed to have known her and will miss her deeply. She had a great zest for life and was truly one of kind. 

God has a new angel in heaven to watch over your family.

Tara was my cousin. We grew up playing at family gatherings and begging to do sleepovers. Dancing with her at her wedding, I realized she was on her way to making all her dreams come true. She met her love Pat and found her calling being the mother to two incredible young women. Tara lived her life authentically and spread joy with her constant giggles. She loved deeply and made friends everywhere she went. To celebrate Tara’s life, I will live more fearlessly as I am a better person because of her. My thoughts are with her family and friends. My ache is to comfort her immediate family during this time. I’m borrowing this poem to help: “Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with Christ.”

It’s impossible to convey our lifetime of love for Tara in one statement.    She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out and we will miss her every day.   We are so blessed to have had her in our lives.  She leaves behind a beautiful family that we are so grateful for.   
Our Lord has promised that we shall meet again and our tears will be wiped away.  Revelation 21:4

Tara was a huge advocate for her daughters. I coached Ashlyn in basketball for two years, and Tara was her biggest cheerleader. She wasn't a parent that asked about more playing time, but one that would ask about how Ashlyn could improve. I enjoyed watching mom and daughter interact in their own way. She was a wonderful mother who is dearly missed.
