She dedicated over 30 years to teaching, educating countless students across Fresno Unified and Parlier Unified. Theresa retired at 72, leaving behind a legacy of inspiring young minds to get excited about learning. She loved teaching her kindergarten and first graders, and because she was also bi-lingual, she was able to connect with her young Spanish-speaking students.
She graduated from Reedley College and Fresno State University, furthering her commitment to education and community service.
Theresa was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and being there every Sunday was important to her. Her love for music and gardening was evident in her vibrant garden, which she tended with great care. She cherished spending time with her family.
Theresa is survived by her three sons; Tom, Paul, and Nathan Medina and daughter, Priscilla Medina; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters and four brothers.
Theresa’s life was a testament to her love for teaching, family, and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
