Mary and Family,
 There was no better friend or mentor than Tommy. He was always willing to offer his help regardless of the task. I was deeply moved by his views on life and will be a better husband, father and friend because of his wisdom. Most of all, I respected his relationship with God and how he honored our maker by living as an example. My only regret is being distracted from my plans to see him a few weeks ago. Although I am saddened by this missed opportunity,I will look forward to seeing him again!

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, I can not imagine what you are all going through. But I do remember, as a little girl, Mr.Garcia being the most kindest, positive,and happiest person! I know my family and I will miss him greatly because Mr. Garcia was a Great man! And that is how we will always remember him!! I have been blessed to have been my Uncle Tom's niece growing up. It was great knowing to have live next door to my uncle and aunt through
 my childhood years. I will
 always have great memories
 of my uncle working on his
 property and taking pride in 
his family and home. He was a 
perfect example of being a 
great husband, father, 
Grandfather, son, uncle, 
brother in law, friend and much
 more. He always had a smile
 on his face. One of my fondest
 memories as a child was when
 my cousin and I roped my 
uncles cow and left the rope 
around it's neck. Boy did my 
uncle give us nickles 
 and sit us on the naughty chair. I will always remember the great Easter gatherings on the property. So much more to share but the memories will live on in our hearts. May God comfort my Aunt Mary and her family. Love, Misty

Tom Garcia was a lovely, lovely man.  So good and kind.  He has left us all too soon.  Our sympathies to Mary and children.

My sincere condolences to Tommy's Family.  I worked with him in Auberry for PG&E.  He was always so happy and smiling and always greeted me with that perky "hello Frankie. How ya doing?"  Very fine man.  Very good man.

Tom will always be remembered as a wonderful, generous and thoughtful person.  He always had a smile and something good to say.  We and our community have seen the best of Tom, as he was truly a good person.  He will be missed and remembered.

Mary and family, please accept our sincere condolences. If we ever met a person who was living the Gospel, it was Tom. Tom didn't preach, He DID it. Besides being involved in EVERY aspect of building IJOP, He (and Mary) quietly, without fanfare, helped so many people in our community, church and otherwise. Our loss is Heaven's gain, Jesus could wait no longer for the company of this wonderful man. His example of Christian charity will remain with us always.
