Allen was born to Virgil and Edith Fairless. He worked on the family farm and proudly served in the Navy. In his leisure time, he loved to fish, a pastime that brought him much joy.
He resided in Fresno, California, and was a former resident of Tranquillity, California where he was a beloved member of the community.
Allen is survived by his nephew, Chad Fairless, and his niece, TeAnn Lakeotes. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Fairless.
A graveside service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, located at 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, on January 9, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
Virgil will be remembered for his contributions to his family and his service to his country.
