Liked Bill from the first time I actually met him at the Dimond O campground one Strawberry fest. Even slipped him in to my campsite as a cousin once. There will be a huge void in my Strawberry experiences with his passing. 
Sail on my friend...Sail on

Bill will be missed by so many of us at Strawberry. Won't be the same without him. Though, I know he'll be there in spirit.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill many years ago at the Strawberry Music Festival and over the years we spent many an hour swapping songs and stories in between sets at the festival.  It was always a joy to have him come walking into our camp on the first day of each fest to plan new fun, and talk about all that had transpired since we last had been together.  Bill loved to play along with my songs and it was always a pleasure to hear his compositions.  I had the honor of meeting his lovely daughter and her kids years back and my heart goes out her and to all of his extended family for this terrible loss.  Through hard times and good, Bill was a friend, and his recent marriage had solidified his path towards happiness.  I can only imagine the loss the family is feeling but please take some comfort in knowing how many people Bill touched and that we are all honoring his memory.  You can bet he will turn up in one of my future songs and it gives me a little solace to know he'll be floating along in the music...

Bill was such a great Strawberry friend to so many of us...he will be very missed...much love to his family...we will see him down the road.

I had the good fortune of working with Bill as an electrician in the 1980's. Bill was a hard worker with a wonderful sense of humor. May God bless and comfort your family.
