Caroline Delfin Norling, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, in Celina, Texas. Born on December 2, 1964, in Santa Ana, California, to Joseph Rosario Delfin and Cecilia Delfin, Caroline lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and a free-spirited joy that touched everyone she encountered.
Caroline had a deep and genuine love for children and animals, and they loved her in return. Becoming a grandmother brought her some of the greatest happiness of her life. She found beauty and peace in the natural world—whether she was tending to her garden, spending time with animals, or standing barefoot in the sand listening to the waves. She loved swimming in the ocean, camping beneath the stars, cooking meals that brought people together, and filling her days with music and good company. Her gentle spirit and easy laughter made every moment feel effortless and full of life.
Caroline leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will forever treasure the joy she brought into their lives. Though their names need not be listed here to honor their privacy, they—and all who loved her—carry her memory forward in the stories, traditions, and love she leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033, on December 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cancer Research Foundation, in Caroline’s honor.
Caroline’s loving spirit, her kindness, and the natural beauty she brought into the world will be remembered always.
