

Conrad Alonzo Craig was born on September 13, 1937, in Georgetown, Guyana, South America to Cecil and Katherine (McCrae) Craig and passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, in McKinney, Texas. His life was one defined by dedication, creativity, and quiet strength.
From an early age, Conrad developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for precision and design. These qualities guided him into a successful career as a construction project coordinator. He proudly worked with JCPenney, where he played an important role in designing retail stores for shopping malls across the country. Through his work, Conrad left a lasting imprint on communities nationwide—spaces where people gathered, worked, and shared everyday moments.
Conrad was known for his thoughtful nature, steady presence, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He took great pride in his profession and held integrity at the center of his life. Those who knew him will remember his calm demeanor, sharp mind, and the care he brought to everything he did—along with his rare ability to make friends with anyone, anytime, and anywhere.
A Celebration of Life honoring Conrad Alonzo Craig will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join in remembrance and reflection. The service will be followed by a repast at Taste of the Islands, located at 909 Spring Creek Parkway #300, Plano, TX 75023, from 1pm to 5pm where loved ones may continue to share memories and celebrate Conrad’s life.
Conrad’s legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as through the work he created and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
