Jim, better known to his family as Popul, Papa, and of course, Dad was the most generous person, always putting others before himself. He was also kind and caring, with a personality the size of Texas. He was always making us laugh, cracking jokes and pulling pranks.

Jim was a very successful business owner of J. W. Sayles and Associates in Dallas, for over twenty five years. Jim built the business from the ground up where he represented multiple high-level instrumentation and engineered flow control systems companies for the Industrial Markets.
In his free time, Jim enjoyed fishing, big game hunting all over the world, collecting antiques, classic sports cars, gemstones, and woodworking. In addition, he was an avid collector of Indian art, pottery, guns, knifes and rare coins.
Jim was a proud member of the Scottish Rite, Hella Shrine Temple, Royal Order of the Jesters, Free Masons, and a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
