José P. Domínguez "Chanito", falleció el viernes 22 de noviembre de 2019 después de alcanzar la edad de 96 años rodeado pacíficamente de familiares en Frisco, TX. En 1940, conoció al amor de su vida, su esposa Esthela Luna De Domínguez vivieron juntos más de 60 años hasta su fallecimiento en 1997. Le sobreviven sus hijos Julio Alberto Domínguez Luna, María Dolores Martínez, María Rosalba Ayala y Eduardo Sergio Domínguez Luna, sus amados nietos Julio Domínguez, Rosalba Ayala, José Pablo Domínguez, Ángel Ayala, Mauro Ruiz, Sergio Eduardo Domínguez, Gerardo Ayala, Miriam Ruiz, Karina Domínguez, Michelle McBride y sus bisnietos Francisco Andrés Ruiz Guerrero, Luis Fernando Romero Ruiz, Mauricio Romero Ruiz, José Pablo Domínguez Castillo, Agustín Aaron Domínguez Castillo, Emilio Domínguez Castillo, Jonathan Ruffino, Stephanie Ruffino, Alexa Ruffino, Anthony Ruffino, Nicole Ayala, Adriana Ayala, Daniela Ayala, Guilia Ayala, Luca Ayala, Hiram Oni Domínguez, Dominick Salem Badilla, Sofía Ruiz Monternach, Santiago Ruiz Monternach y seis bisnietos.
A instancias de su hermano menor Angel, en 1942, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, José P. Domínguez vino a Estados Unidos como parte del Programa Bracero entre los Estados Unidos y México, ayudando a construir el sistema ferroviario del medio oeste de los Estados Unidos, creando una oportunidad eterna para toda su familia. obtener la ciudadanía estadounidense y vivir en la tierra de los libres. José P. Domínguez continuó su pasión por los trenes en San Luis Potosí México como supervisor de la línea de ferrocarril de carga de donde se retiró.
En sus últimos años, Chanito persiguió el amor por el aire libre y dedicó mucho tiempo a su rancho, le apasionaba trabajar la tierra, sus caballos y sus burros. Chanito tenia una pasión por leer libros relacionados con el Derecho Civil y el Código Penal y escribir durante horas en su máquina de escribir en su estudio. Sus pasatiempos incluyen ver deportes en vivo en la televisión como boxeo, lucha libre, corridas de toros, Tom & Jerry, Chavo del 8 y Animal Planet. Chanito amaba jugar juegos de mesa como la oca, serpientes y escaleras, dominoes, y billar.
Fue un fuerte patriarca de su familia, un buen amigo para todos. Fue un buen padre que siempre cuidó a sus hijos e hizo lo mejor que pudo para enseñarles y guiarlos, un abuelo, "tatarabuelo","tatara-tatara-tatara" abuelo amoroso y maravilloso. Un hombre que nunca se preocupó mucho por sí mismo y que incluso en sus últimos días le diría a sus seres queridos: "que todo estará bien".
Chanito siempre será recordado por su fuerza, su sentido de responsabilidad, su inteligencia e organización, pero lo más importante es su amable corazón amoroso.
Los servicios conmemorativos se llevarán a cabo el Sábado 7 de Diciembre de 2019 a las 11:00 a.m. en Stonebriar Funeral Home, Inc., 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034.

Jose P Dominguez “Chanito”, passed away on Friday November 22, 2019 after reaching the age of 96 years old peacefully surrounded by family in Frisco, TX. In 1940, he met the love of his life, his wife Esthela Luna De Dominguez they lived together over 57 years until her passing in 1997. At the urging of his younger brother, Angel, in 1942, during WWII, Jose P Dominguez came to America as part of the Bracero Program between the United States and Mexico helping build the Midwestern United States rail road system creating an everlasting opportunity for all of his family to be granted U.S. Citizenship and live in the land of the free. Jose P. Dominguez continued his passion for trains in San Luis Potosi Mexico as a supervisor of the cargo rail line where he retired. In his later years, Chanito pursued the love for the outdoors and dedicated a lot of time to his ranch, he had a passion for working the land and for his horses and donkeys. Chanito had a passion for reading books related to Civil Law and the Penal Code and writing for hours in his typewriter in his studio. His hobbies included watching live sports on TV like boxing, lucha-libre, bull fighting, Tom & Jerry, Chavo del 8 and Animal Planet. Chanito loved tabletop games like chutes and ladders, dominoes and pool. Chanito’s favorite food included thin crispy pizza, tamales, french fries and always had a beer a day.
He was a strong patriarch of his family, a good friend to all. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them, a loving “grand”, “great-grand” and “great-great grand’’ father to many. A man who never cared much about himself and who even in his final days would said to his loved ones, “everything will be okay”.
Chanito will always be remembered for his strength, his sense of responsibility, his intelligence and organization, but most importantly his kind loving heart.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019, 11:00AM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, Inc., 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034.
