Kimberly Wright Stedman

Kimberly Wright Stedman, aged 67, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2024. She was born on June 5th,1957 in Oneida New York to Elmer and Sheila Williams Wright. Kimberly was known for her deep compassion, sharp wit, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength, having touched the lives of all who knew her. Throughout her life, Kimberly was a source of support and love for her family, always putting others before herself. Her warmth extended beyond her household, as she was proudly involved in The Daughters of the American Revolution and her church, as well as constantly striving to make time for her family and serve others. She had the gift of hospitality.

Kimberly wed her High School sweetheart, and soul mate, Dean Stedman on July 11th, 1979, in Osceola, NY. Eight days after their wedding, they moved to north Texas and raised their family there.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wright, and her father, Elmer Wright.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Sheila Wright, her sister, Melodyne Wright Darrow, Kim’s beloved spouse of 45 years, Dean Stedman; her daughter Camille Kimberly Colton and spouse Kevin Colton, and her son Benjamin Wright Stedman and spouse Brittany Stedman; and her cherished grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, Leah, Heidi, and Hunter. She also leaves behind a close-knit circle of friends and extended family who will forever miss her radiant smile and comforting presence.

The celebration of her life will be hosted at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, TX on September 8th, with friends and family in attendance.

Kimberly Wright Stedman will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with all. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
