Lee Martinez, was born to Louie and Rosalia Martinez in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nicknamed Bosco in high school, Lee was a respected leader among his peers throughout his academic career and proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Lee had an infectious laugh and a lighthearted personality, which helped him excel in his professional career and personal life. Lee was a lover of music, could whistle any tune, make a drum out of anything imaginable, and would outlast anyone on the dance floor. He was constantly learning new things, and had a not-so-secret love of technology, reading, and cooking.
Lee is survived by his wife Donna Dickey-Martinez; children Tim Martinez and Deanne Uroic; step-sons Chris Dickey and Shane Dickey; grandchildren Riley Torbott, Ryan Dickey, Kalli Dickey, Magan Dickey, Jaci Dickey, Everest Martinez, and Sabina Uroic. He is also survived by his siblings Larry Martinez, Lloyd Martinez, and Rosebud Hatch; aunts; Libby Marquez, and Virgie Saiz; uncle Sonny Torres. Lee was predeceased by his parents, Louie and Rose, who he loved dearly.
