

Richard Ira Aron, age 61, of Frisco, Texas passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Richard was born July 23, 1960 at Jewish Memorial Hospital in New York City, NY to his loving parents Ronald and Susan (Eisman) Aron.
After graduation from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School in 1978, Richard went on to attend San Antonio College where he received an AAS in Computer programing and Regis University where he received a BSBA in Management/Computer Information Systems. After graduating from Regis College Richard became a software developer, and later followed his dream of becoming a corporate pilot. His career earned him achievements as a Software Development Engineer and CSM Falcon and Beech Jet Instructor Pilot.
Richard loved his family, making friends, being respectful, taking risks and traveling. He also enjoyed cooking in restaurants while attending school. Comedy and watching his pets always made him laugh. He proud of watching his sons graduate college from UT Arlington and University of North TX and then going on to follow their dreams. Some of Richard’s favorite pastimes were playing guitar, water volleyball, bocce ball, playing Black Jack and going to the shooting range. He was happy to devote his spare time to being a Hebron Band Parent and Boy Scout Leader. Richard attended the Chabad of Frisco.
Richard is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Nancy Thacker Aron, whom he married on May 30, 1981; sons Robert Aron and Nathaniel Aron; siblings: Pam Aron Smith, Faith Aron Folio, Marcy Aron Kirschner, Dave Aron, Amanda Eisman-Lindsay and Michelle Carla.
A celebration of life memorial service for Richard will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033.
