RV, I look forward to your cheeriness, more rides and camping trips, and probably a greater purpose when we meet again. Until then, my friend, I'll reflect upon fond memories of you since Sturgis 1998. Let's ride.

I new Ron for over 25 years and he always had a smile on his face and a great story to tell. When I retired from Cummins in2015, Ron would call me to update me on all the latest “goings on “ with Cummins. He would tell me stories about his adventures on his motorcycle and the next great trip that he was planning. We talked regularly about life and family and what is important in life. Ron moved to Texas to be closer to his family. He always had great things to say about his daughter and son, but the grandkids were the ones that gave him the most joy in his life. He will be greatly missed as a true friend, father and grandfather. Be safe my friend on your journey in the heavens and remember to look down and smile on us once in a while. You will certainly be missed.

Melinda and I were shocked and saddened to hear that Ron passed away.  Ron and I became very close friends over the years working for Cummins.  We had more fun with Ron at Century clubs, trade shows, and get togethers having beers in St. Louis before a Cards game.  Ron was trying to put together a trip to Nashville for past retirees from Cummins but had to delay it due to the virus.  I can't even imagine what trouble Ron, Jack and I would of gotten into!
Rest in peace my friend, you were one of a kind and we will miss you.

I have had the privilege of tap dancing with Ron for the last 6 years with ADIVA. Ron and I were wired with the our own  syncopation which came in handy when everyone else’s 8 beats were up we were still dancing ours out … 
He was more fun and support than words can say. He made us feel so loved, special, and it was an honor to be on stage with him. His positive energy force could fix anything and he was always and all ways willing to lend an ear and his heart to help. I  will miss him in every step I take. Keep smiling and dancing  as you light the sky up with your amazing spirit Ron. 


I knew Ron from G2E and Club. At one such club in California ,he said he had driven to club to which I replied, " that's against the rules"!!! He then proceeded to tell me that it wasn't, as the rule stipulated you couldn't drive a car to club and told me that it said nothing about driving a motorcycle !!!.... I rest my case ! LOL

My wife and I enjoyed several trips with Ron and other Cardinal group leaders. We always had fun going to games with Ron and talking Cardinal baseball. He was a great fan and will be missed.

I know that someone as happy and full of energy, with  a personality bigger than life doesn't just leave our lives. Ron was such a good story teller, kind hearted man,  and always had a great adventure to share with the world. Things such as those don't ever vanish.

 I will never forget how gracious Ron was with me and my family when we came down from Chicago to St Louis to watch a Cardinals vs Cubs game. He sent a package 2 weeks in advance with Cardinals gear for all, just to make sure we didn't dare root for the Cubs. He then met with us at the park.  I'm sure there was a part of him that wanted to corroborate we were wearing the right gear!

 I remember the Two-Step free  lessons that he kindly provided every year to me and the Cummins crew during the G2E trips. He could party all night and be fresh as a cucumber the next morning,  ready to work with the energy of a teenager...a skill we all wished we had!

Im very grateful to have had the privilege to know Ron. I pray that he rests in peace, knowing how much he was loved and appreciated by the so many lives he touched during his time on earth. 


I was a young, nervous, rookie Cummins Branch Manager in 1993.....just transferred to Des Moines, IA.  Ron took my under his caring wing and was a great mentor, team mate, and most of all good friend.  Over the years and miles, Ron always kept in touch and was genuinely concerned and supportive.  He was a fantastic sounding board, and in his own unique way made everyone feel better about their lot in life.  I will really miss ya, Buddy!  CHEERS!

Fifteen years ago, I started a job at the Corporate office for Cummins Allison.  Soon after, I met Ron and immediately found a friend in him.  We spoke the same language of sarcasm!  Ron certainly loved to give crap to all of us devoted Cubs fans and made everyone smile with his digs on our struggling team.  He was always willing to help and will be missed by all of his coworker friends.

Met Ron by way of my brother as we traveled to Sturgis back in early 2000s. Ron became a great friend and we would continue our Sturgis ride for years. Ron knew so many roads to ride and places to see. We rode to Grand Canyon, Yellowstone Park, Colorado, and so many other sites. Ron always had a smile, made you feel comfortable. We would talk on the phone ever so often with Ron always planning the next trip. I will miss you my brother, thanks for the great memories.

I worked with Ron at Cummins Allison.  He was one of the most successful branch managers in the country.   In fact, I believe that he won the "Branch Manager of the Year" award five times!  Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, Ron would take time to help me.  At our meetings together I enjoyed hearing about his latest adventures in dancing and riding his motorcycle.  He wrote me a very nice note congratulating me for being a regular at our Century Club events.  He always had a huge smile on his face and was filled with enthusiasm.  The last time that I saw him, he had on a cardinal red suit.  I will always smile when I remember my time spent with Ron.  

Ron I will remember you as happy and positive, a great dancer, a showman, and mostly for your warm smile.  I was luckily enough to get to meet and dance with you at ADIVA Dance.  You have left us too soon and we are so sad about that. I know when the dancers get together again we will be dancing and definitely thinking of you! ♥️
