OBITUARY

Sara V Randall

18 April, 1939 – 3 April, 2026
IN THE CARE OF

Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services

Sara L. Randall, 86, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Hiram, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. She was born in Mashulaville, Mississippi, to Bascom and Nettie Sanders.

Sara lived a full and meaningful life marked by courage, generosity, and love for her family. She enjoyed singing in the choir, a new hobby that brought her joy, and deeply cherished time spent with her children, their spouses, and her grandson. As a Navy wife, she traveled the world, embraced adventure, and was always willing to try something new. She attended the Culinary Institute of America and became well known in her family for creating memorable meals, especially the cherished “big event” Christmas meal each year. Her desserts, including her signature pina colada cake, were always a highlight. Sara also had a special gift for making others feel seen and loved through thoughtful, personal gifts that reflected her big heart. She had a playful love for good conversation and keeping up with the latest family news.

Sara is survived by her two children and spouses, Tiffany Randall (Jeffrey Hunter) and Robert Randall (Sarah Randall); and her grandson, Jonathan J. Randall.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life service to be held in May of 2026 at Kennesaw Memorial Park, where Sara will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband of 37 years, Jonathan H. Randall.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to, “Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, in gratitude for the kindness and compassionate care shown to Sara and to our family during her final days.” You can submit your donations here: https://www.texashealth.org/foundation
