Yanira Cruz Crespo

Yanira Cruz Crespo falleció el jueves 10 de noviembre de 2022 en Dallas, Texas acompañada de su familia a su lado, a sus 44 años de edad. Yanira nació el 30 de diciembre de 1977. Son sus padres Evelyn Crespo Rodríguez y Daniel Cruz Lorenzo.

Yanira cursó sus grados de elemental e intermedia en la escuela Arístides Maisonave y culminó sus grados de escuela superior en la escuela Efraín Sánchez Hidalgo en Moca, PR. Continuó sus estudios universitarios y completó su grado asociado en la Universidad Metropolitana Ana G. Méndez. Yanira completó el entrenamiento de la Academia de la Policía de Puerto Rico y luego comenzó a trabajar en el Cuerpo de Vigilantes del Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales (D.R.N.A) en el 2004. Yanira trabajó en el D.R.N.A por 18 años, mayormente en el área de educación, llevando charlas educativas a las escuelas y a la comunidad. Sus pasatiempos favoritos incluían explorar su querida isla, pasar tiempo con su familia y sus mascotas, arreglar su casa y sus jardines, hacer rompecabezas y ver el atardecer. Disfrutaba celebrar los logros y cumpleaños de su familia y amigos. Su época favorita era la navidad, y le encantaba ponerse bonita para las fiestas y tomarse muchas fotos.

La sobreviven sus tres hijas Richelle Chantal Barada Cruz, Fabiola Marie Barada Cruz, y Alanis Zoe Medina Cruz, sus padres Evelyn y Daniel, sus hermanas Daisy y Dailyn, y sus mascotas Ainoha, Ulises y Mia. Yanira vivía por y para sus tres hijas. Amaba a Dios y a su familia con todo su corazón. Su alegre forma de ser impactaba a todos los que la conocieron. Le sonreía a la vida diariamente con su carisma y positivismo genuino. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia y amistades. Le encantaba salir a comer y su plato favorito era la pizza. Superó muchos obstáculos y fue determinada a alcanzar sus metas. Su legado fue enseñarnos a sonreir ante todo y a disfrutar el tiempo en familia en unidad. Una de las metas pendientes de Yani era tener su propio cuido de niños luego de retirarse. Amante de la naturaleza, la fotografía, los animales, los niños, la comida, el café, y sobre todo sus tres princesas: Richelle, Fabiola y Alanis.

Su familia inmediata celebrará su vida en una ceremonia privada en el estado de Texas. Luego se trasladarán sus restos a su amada isla Puerto Rico donde se le dará cristiana sepultura. Los detalles se estarán compartiendo más adelante.

Yanira Cruz Crespo, age 44, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born December 30, 1977 to her loving parents Evelyn Crespo Rodríguez and Daniel Cruz Lorenzo.

Yanira completed her secondary education in Moca, PR. She obtained her Associates Degree at Universidad Metropolitana Ana G. Méndez. Yanira completed training with the Puerto Rico Police Academy and joined the Department of Natural Resources of Puerto Rico in 2004. Yanira worked with the department for 18 years where she focused on educating schools and the community in general about protecting the environment and endangered species. Her hobbies included exploring her island, spending time with her family and pets, decorating her house, gardening, solving puzzles and watching the sunset. She enjoyed celebrating birthdays and important events with her family and friends. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, she enjoyed the festivities and loved to capture memories with pictures.

Yanira is survived by her three daughters Richelle Chantal Barada Cruz, Fabiola Marie Barada Cruz, and Alanis Zoe Medina Cruz, her parents Evelyn and Daniel, her sisters Daisy and Dailyn, and her pets Ainoha, Ulises and Mia. Yanira lived for her daughters. She loved God, and her family with all her heart. She impacted everyone with her bright personality. Yani smiled at life with charm and positivite atittude. She enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. Yani loved to go out to eat and her favorite food was pizza. She overcame many obstacles in life and was always determined to reach her goals. Her legacy will live with us forever. She taught us to smile no matter the circumstances and to value time with family in unity. One of Yani’s pending goals was to have her own daycare after retirement. Yani loved nature, photography, animals, kids, food, coffee, and above it all her three princesses Richelle, Fabiola and Alanis.

Yanira’s life will be celebrated by her immediate family in a private ceremony in Texas. She will then be transfered to her beloved island Puerto Rico where she will receive a Christian burial. Further details will be provided.
