Margaret Joyce Colbert

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens in Strasburg.

Joyce was born in Washington, DC on November 4, 1942 a daughter of the late William Leroy and Mildred Frances Estes Burley. She was a clerical worker at Phelps Time Lock Company. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alvin Colbert; her children, Debra Lynn Ward and husband David of DE, Mary Theresa Jones of Front Royal, and Michael Paul Colbert of Front Royal; her brothers, Robert Burley and Richard Burley both of AZ; her sisters, Betty Trapani of VA and Mildred Coursey of AZ; her grandchildren, Robert Powell, III, Shannon Campbell, Matthew Jones, and Megan Jones; her great-grandchildren, Levi Campbell, Cole Campbell, Sean Jones, and Maci Jones.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. and Friday, August 29, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
