Shirley Ann Williams Prosser

Shirley Ann Williams Prosser, 67, of Inwood, West Virginia was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23rd, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Wednesday, November 29th at 12:00 pm followed immediately by a celebration of her life at 1:00 pm at Turner Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal. Interment will follow the service in the Williams Family Cemetery in Chester Gap. Family and friends are invited for refreshments and fellowship following interment at Chester Gap Baptist Church. Shirley was born on April 29, 1950 in Chester Gap to the late Albert Randolph and Edith Marie Williams. A sister, Frances Williams Rudacille, preceded her in death in 2013. Shirley graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1968. She retired from Plumly Lumber in Winchester, Virginia in 2008 after 25 years of service. Shirley was an avid gardener, animal lover and amazing cook. She was also a member of Chester Gap Baptist Church. Shirley leaves behind her husband of 38 years, William “Bill” Prosser. Also left to cherish her memory are three siblings and their spouses, Betty and Floyd Lilly and Randy and Teresa Williams of Chester Gap, and Greg and Lisa Williams of Front Royal; many adored nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Hofmann, Billy Davis, Timmy Mawyer, Paul Ambrozewicz, Logan Davis and Nicholas Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Angela Davis, Amy Mawyer, Anna Hofmann and Lily Hofmann.
